What Is Amazon Good For?

So I do have an obsession with Amazon because I love their craft supplies and love the option of stickers, journals but I am currently using one from TKMaxx and I do feel, myself that I need to support the high street. Their is  T G Jones. but Was Whsmiths and they can be pretty expensive and so on amazon and TKMaxx are a lot more price friendly and there are different ones you can purchase, but I am cutting back as I want to now make my own but still use Amazon for inspiration.

My Journal bought from TK Maxx and my current one and sticker book from Amazon

I like to buy books  on there because you get all different types of books. They are great value because you can resale them or donate them and yes I do buy from charity shops too, but I find the difference you can pre-order books and if you got Kindle then definitely worth using amazon for books.

It is also good for bulk buying. I buy my sons shower gel, toilet rolls, kitchen roll and hand soap.

I love buying shoes from there, but I have found some of the clothing disappointing and had to throw a few bits way due to not made well.

Amazon is good for furniture. The desk I am working on is from Amazon and I love it along with my sons desk in his bedroom and storage bins. Great for storage if nothing else and great value.

Electronics not so much. Yet my phone chargers are good, as you just sit your phone on them, but will need a certain plug to use them. USB. I have bought my insulated mug that I am using now. Was for picnics, so bought a flask never been used and a blanket so will need to use them at some point and have just come up with an idea. When it isn't raining put onto on our garden table and have a home picnic.

Will test it out once the weather changes.

I like Prime as been watching few films on Prime Video and did have Audible but found my self not listening to many audiobooks and so cancelled my subscription because now I listen to BBC Sounds instead but Audible is good but I just wasn't using it as much.

So there are some good items but tip shop around, especially when it comes to certain clothing and equipment.

Overloaded Appliances in the Kitchen

Buying appliances can be like buying clothes and wanting the new appliance on the market. Example Nutrabullet. I remember when it first came out in the 90's/2000's and we had one gifted to us and I used it once and not again.

My Kitchen and like to watching something on my laptop when having a meal

I have a food processor and whilst pregnant it fell off  and hit me in the back, because the bottom of appliance didn't stick to the surface as it should and the fan oven went on the blink and so now we use the #Airfryer it has been a real change and saves so much time. Not Sponsored, but if it was offered would accept.

When it comes to appliances I hate it when it takes so long to clean and we have a supposedly non stick pan but things still stick to it. We had a toasted sandwich maker, cup cake maker and an automatic tin opener and just took up so much space.

Like clothes I find you can get an overloaded kitchen. I got into baking and did a Cake Making Course and it cost me more to make cakes for the course than the fee to take the course. I am not a baker and I like writing. I'd rather buy a cake, but I do enjoy making dinners and planning meals, but baking no. In fact I have Kitchen Aid that has been in my cupboard for about 4 years and not moved and we do have a slow cooker but that is a must and I love using my slow cooker.

What does your kitchen mean to you? A kitchen is to me personal space, like a bathroom where you love doing your skincare and soak in the tub with a nice shower gel. I love having a Coffee and Tea area, my food cupboard and it is set up on what we like to eat and cook. I love to watch a bit of Youtube, Music or a audio book and have space to do that. I like combining my Kitchen with things I enjoy when sitting down and takes the feeling of a chore away and have things at easy reach and the appliances we use, is The Kettle, Airfryer and toaster.

It is good to go through your appliances and utensils to and have what you know your going to use.

There are always a new appliance and when pregnant with my son and couldn't sleep well would watch info commercials and would buy items from Ideal Home and Bid TV and it can be so enticing that before you know it you have half of John Lewis in your kitchen.

Our oven, cooker, fridge and freezer and microwave are all built in, but have gone faulty and our washing machine is in there too. When I can have my own home I'd like to have a separate laundry room and we live mainly in the living room or garden.

I'd like a built in microwave and oven as they do save space and have a separate set of hobs and a separate fridge with a freezer.

Watching Youtube many people have a coffee machine. I like instant coffee, percolated so have a cafetiere and the cartons of cold coffee and would be a waste for us. I like to once a week go to a coffee shop and at the weekends and have coffee shop APPs so I can have a free coffee and something we like to do.

So go through your appliances and if they are in good condition then why not to sell or like my mums neighbours as if anyone would like it so its not a complete waste as it could be suitable for some families and people.

I like a clear surface and I am gradually letting go of some appliances as they can be hard to let go.

Things I like to stock up on

It is good to not run out of toilet roll or kitchen towel so we bulk buy and through receiving gift sets and stocking up on hair care products I haven't had to buy any shampoo or conditioner, which are the main things I use, for a long time and it is saved me so much money and the same with food and drink items.

I like to have plenty of socks and underwear and did do clear out not so long ago and it felt good as my corner unit was a mess, I got it cleared out and went through my underwear and it is good to have clearer spaces but I like to make sure that I have plenty of underwear and also socks go missing.

The amount of socks go missing is an issue and so I have to fish them out. My husband often is never sure which ones are mine and who is my sons. So I have to go on a hunt, but I like to wear woolly socks for the autumn and winter and spring and summer, ankle socks or no socks at all.

As I continue this blog after giving my son a bath, found a pair of socks in his pocket organiser and if you have any tips on this please share. You can use the comment box below.

I am not buying clothes this year as I have enough so I rotate them and can put some of my woolly jumpers away and been sorting through my clothes and I declutter my clothes as I go.

We like to make sure we have enough hand soap and because I suffer with chapped hands I have to make sure I have plenty of hand cream. Also my face and so it is essentials and what we use all the time.

Batteries too. My son likes his battery operated lamps and also for our TV remote and other appliances. We make sure we have enough cleaning products and medicines.

It is good to have a first aid kit and for my son I have put together a toiletry bag for school. This has tissues, wet wipes, sun cream and going to put his nose spray in there too, for his Hayfever. He suffers mainly this time of year. My son did use Piritese but it made him go off his food and made him constipated and so it is cool baths and there are wet wipes for Hayfever too and so its, emergency supplies.

So go through what you have got and what gets used up most of the time.

Organsing My Weekends

It is almost the weekend and it means that it is time whilst my son is school to clean his rugby boots and get my sons football kit together for tomorrow and then has tennis club in the afternoon tomorrow and I am doing my Radio show this week on Sunday.

So now I plan in advance knowing that I have to wash my sons school clothes ready for Monday and also make sure I have my notes done for my show and I don't have a producer or director and so it is up to me to make sure I am ready and prepared. So I make sure now this is done by Tuesday before and I plan my shows in bulk. I have learned now that "Bulk is the way to go".

The weekends are a day to be outdoors and go for a coffee and have time to relax and so I use Friday as my day to get the essential tasks done by the end of Friday and today over the weekend going to continue to sort out my home. I need to continue with with organising my sons books, get his canvases up on his wall, sort out the kitchen and begin sorting out my baking cupboard and I also have a vlog going up scheduled for today. This has now been posted check out link: https://youtu.be/NOiWbxclo4w

I have been up super early to read and watch a bit of Youtube before my son gets up ready for school and done a walk on the treadmill. I am not gloating I am actually surprised with myself and got a good stretch of the day to get the other tasks done, before that though going to see if I can change my change into the cash machine in the bank and have a coffee.

So if there is anything you need to do before the weekend:

  • plan in advance of when you realistically about to get your task done.
  • Do some things in bulk
  • Have a coffee
  • Perhaps I should clean my sons rugby boots and done that at the beginning of the week
  • Have an essential list by Friday and everything is prepared for your kids if they too have clubs to got to

Tidy as you go to reduce time and messy spaces

You go through your home and it seems okay but you see a sock on the floor. Should you leave it there or pick it up? You see that the toilet roll needs to be changed, do you change it?

The Window in my living of a real picture of clutter that I have cleared.

It is good to do a scan with your eyes of anything that will take less than a minute, to straighten out and can focus on something else. The one thing is if I go upstairs and needs to taken up there, I take it.

It is good when you prep dinner to clean as you go. It is good do to a quick check of items that are not in the right place and your spaces in your home in functional and when cooking going through what needs to be eaten and helps with food planning.

Going through clothes, photos that need to be organised and just create a system where they are in sight.

Use the one in and one out. You can do this as you go. You try an item you on and it no longer fits or has not washed well or not able to repaired or altered, it is time to let it go.

Can anything be donated or sold, for someone else to wear or use. I love a charity shops, but don't over do it and if there is specific reason. I found some trainers that I use when I do Parkrun and they have been brilliant. If any don't fit and you can take them to be recycled or donated. Even Foodbanks are taking clothes too, if you don't wish to sell them.

I like to spend time putting things away, but it is good to also have a items that you can grab. This is something I have adopted to be consistent with my organisation, to ensure I have clothes accessible to save myself time. Another tip is, give things time. This ensures the item you are letting go, won't be making you feel regretful,  later on, for letting it go.

I hope you find this blog helpful.

I now have a new book out. It is called Mum&Me and so check it out:

Things I do to save myself time

Watching a Video, I thought of all the things I do to save myself time.

1. I always have clothes out ready for the next day at the bottom of my bed and my wardrobe has a sliding door and so have it open to put anything else I may want to wear.

2. Have appliances set up in the kitchen ready to make dinner and meal plan

3. Keep a shopping list on my Notebook APP on my phone

4. Clean in sections of the day. So whilst I am making my first coffee I will clear items on the sink draining board from breakfast, then after Lunch and whilst prepping dinner.

5. Have all what I need when I go back to my home in Wimbledon in ruck sack which is a travel bag. as a I technically, live in two places and make sure I have all my meds, hair brush, a magazine to read and other bits I need on the go.

6. I make sure I have two of everything I use all of the time, like skincare. I use a Nivea cream and E45 cream and use deodorants/body sprays or perfume

7. I have my laptop fully charged and have tabs open that I use all the time already and programmes open like Word and Excel.

8. Make my bed as soon as I wake up

9. Have a bath or shower the night before

10. I workout as I go, like waiting for my son to come home from school so looking out of the window because he goes to and from school by taxi and do arm routines and legs.

I like a routine, doing things that save me time to do other things, like reading, cooking and watching TV. I'd love to hear what you do to save time. You can comment below and why not subscribe. This will help you to be notified of when I post a blog on this site and never miss a blog/

Looking After The Home

When I see stuff put away it will feel good in my mind and wish I had a wand for it to put into place. I am no Mary Poppins. I am untidy and have been since a kid. Only I know where things are. I like to have more space but then I find it hard to let go.

The Daily Set up of me in Epsom, make the dining table serve many purposes

I have gotten better and today got items for my son that he needs and he has enough for his packed lunch as during the school holidays he goes to a Holiday club and so has to have a packed lunch each day.

We live in two places and so I tend to buy double but really I can do without and so it is going through what I have is helping me to have better spending habit and use what I have got and make my money go further. Buy essentials like, Feminine products, food, a few snacks and anything I need for the home to make it more organized and clean.

Then there are bags. I feel I need a better system. Now I have written that, my mind is already started to come up in my head of what will help.

Try out a system until you find what works.

I do have a rucksack that I have everything I need and unless I am in Wimbledon for two days, mainly the weekends, I will usually leave my laptop in Epsom and so I need a system for the holidays to still carry the things I need to carry less.

How many of you have this problem?

What systems would you recommend?

You can leave a comment below.

When it comes to being organized it is to admit where you have gone wrong. As a kid I would shove everything in a draw and the draws would break. It is also feels like a weight on my shoulders, to see clearer spaces and have a realistic organized setting, so I can have the items I use everyday to have easy access to them.

I always lay out my clothes for the day and I do wear the same clothes on consecutive days and that my perfume, deodorant and face cream.

Downsizing is the key too for me and so today I saw that I had many items in draws I bought that I know I will not where so going to have sort out of my clothes again and anything that has a hole or worn then get rid of it, if he can't be fixed or sown up.

If something is not working then it needs to be changed.

So more blogs to come, but for now, many thanks for reading,

One minute tasks I do to stay productive

My Autumn Reset starts 10th September 2024
This printable will be free to download check out my blogsite
Everyone can Build a Castle

It is September 2024 and I got to say it is good to have school back and have some time to myself.

I just been out and to be more organised I do each day One Minute tasks, like before I pop out and before bed time, check that the back door is locked, along with the front door, and the door to the kitchen and living room are closed. I do a quick tidy up like sort my bed out, get my sons bag ready for school and clean up anything left to on the draining board in the kitchen are dried and put away and then do my skincare, make sure my son and I brush our teeth and are both dressed to chill out, before my son is is picked up to go to school.

Having a good daily routine can really make the time to have a coffee and each week I love to go to the coffee shop like I did today and draft some blogs and looking around the coffee shop this morning noticed other who I know from, go to the coffee shop too, after their kids have gone to school.

I bumped into someone I know whose son was in the Special care unit, when my son was. They both premature babies and got to know when doing Henry's care and it is good to have that connection and meet up with our sons.

So you can have a quick chat with someone whilst running errands, by doing a quick video call and it was good to know the parents, where my son goes to school as now he gets a taxi to school due to distance, missed that.

I will then do my skincare with is a Nivea day cream and Vitamin C spray. I do wear make up but not all the time, but my skin if not looked after then it goes dry.

Anything that takes no time to do I do mainly first and anything that takes longer I make sure I have full day other nothing else planned and nothing to go out for, and actually doing a bit a day and breaking up the longer tasks, like clearing my laundry and decluttering.

This morning I tidied up my suitcases in the Living room as I am in Epsom for the week when my son is at school and then in Wimbledon at the weekends and during the school holidays.

Getting my sons snack and water to take to school as he has his lunches at school and now I am going to wash up which will take one minute of items used for lunch and change the meal I had planned for dinner as there are leftovers and needs to be cooked.

I like to use up what I have got first and reduce waste as much as I can.

So what one minute tasks do you do? Please leave a comment below.

Many thanks for reading,

Staying on Track

So today I have tidied away some clothes washed and stripped my sons bed to wash his bedding and do my sons breakfast and helped get my son ready, taking him to his holiday club and the way I get things done now, is by taking my time.

This morning I slept up until my alarm went off, 6:35am and I do like to get up before then, to work on projects but no, I am no longer giving myself a hard time over it and still got things done.

Time isn't the problem, it's how it is used, and that there is enough hours in the day.

It is about setting your goals, following healthy habits and living habits and have a good look at your calendar, so you can see what you have written and planned. Example: Each Friday I will set up a weekly planner, using Notion and brain dump of what I need to do, in a notebook and workout what I plan to do and when. I also like to do unplanned things, like when my mum and step dad are off or with my husband and son, go for walks and just exploring.

Give yourself a personal day.

I have now gone more digital when it comes to getting things done and the Good thing about digital planners is that you can set reminders and set it up so others, like family if you have children who have appointments, spouse and what their plans are each week and day. Once it is saved it is there. With Notion I have the APP (no I am not sponsored but would love to be) so I can still see what I have planned to do whilst out and about, as I like to walk and exercise. You don't have scribbles everywhere, because plans can change and makes it easier to amend using my phone and it is free to use, if you choose the personal set up.

I do a list in a notebook, but that stays on my desk and I like to use my notes app on my phone, if I need do some food shopping, blog ideas unless I have my writing gear with me, if I think of a book idea, start my song list for my radio show (I work on Epsom Hospital Radio on Sunday's 4pm to 6pm and you can listen to it if you are in the UK) and not having to carry too much around.

People who know me. I have not always carried light bags and stored my world in them, but it can cause back ache and so I limit now, of what I carrying, depending on where I am going and who I am with.

I then as I go through the day I will potter around, do a bit of tidying, pop out and really enjoy that, and have a mooch around the shops, having a coffee out or not always, buy an ice cream and in the summer go to a coffee shop or park to read my book.

Not everyone has the luxury to do that, and I don't do this every day either, but when I do, I do enjoy it.

Soon it will be all systems go again as our kids return to school and so going to try and make the most of the good weather and summer days before we have to put our coats back on.

Many thanks for reading,

The things I have changed in my life since my last post in 2022/New Organized self 2024

Oh boy where do I begin? I didn't mean to select this blog site and I am glad I did seeing the views I had on my last blog back in 2022 and so much has changed.

My mental health took a turn for the worst, I ended up in hospital and lost contact with friends and it has been a long road to recovery.

Now I get up at 5:30am each morning I have been editing a new book. Check my last book Mum&Me, and this is going to be a series. I have already started on book 2, but working on a book called When Mothers Are real and on my 5th edit, and to make sure I get it done been getting up early to edit it and I only began doing this when one night I couldn't sleep and was wide awake, but in the morning at 4:30am, fully awake and felt this surge of energy, and had so much more energy, that I was like "Wow where has this come from?".

Checkout my Daily blog: My Daily Thoughts and feelings (mydailythougthsandfeelings.blogspot.com) Where I have shared this and on my blog Everyone Can Be A Castle. http://everyonecanbuildacastle.com/2024/03/26/ive-become-a-early-bird-and-feel-revitalized/

This has made me stop going on my laptop in the evenings and turn my phone on silent at night and is away from my bed and no longer sleep with it next to me and would listen to music before bed, but now found this affected my sleep and would do the same in the mornings.

I have been wanting to get into the habit of waking up earlier as I like the feeling I have a whole day ahead of me and be in PJ's whilst drinking my first cup of tea for the day and write. I failed at it and taken a while to get into this habit, but then it just happened and has been the biggest influence to me this year and is part of my New Organised self for 2024.

Now I get all my tasks done now and use OneNote which is a free planner programme by Microsoft, my diary, Filofax and my notebooks I use to plan and journal in.

Everyday I wrote in my current journal of what I have been happy about, and it is good to tick things off and now I do a Life Coaching programme called "Summer Project" and blog on my site mentioned above, everyone can build a castle and to help you have a better life and better year.

I got some real good feedback from the first time I did the programme and so continuing on in 2024 and will start 1st May to August 31st. So come and check it out.

Taking ownership and making changes in my life

It is been a while since I have blogged on this site, and that is because many things have altered in the fact of my schedule since returning to write this blog. I have had a change of pace and it feels good to have that. What I mean is I not rushing into things, but taking my time. I like to reflect and see areas I can do that will further my wellbeing.

To me Wellbeing is important because you start to see things that you love in your life and what you do not. I recently was becoming conscious of what I been eating as I kept having a bad stomach and was seeing that it is fizzy drinks. As I a kid I never could drink them, but in the last two years been drinking them everyday. Yet two days ago now I did have a bad stomach and yesterday was the first day not drinking a can of diet coke and drinking more water and only two days I feel a lot better.

In writing this I have a can of coke on my desk, but trying to drink more water and so feel a little defeated so gonna keep trying to stir myself away and cut them down, so can have coke only for a few days.

When I have not worked out I instantly will get up and do it, and feel good that I have done it. I don't do a long time, but enough for my energy.

You don't have to do jam pack your day and I need to remember this too, because I do feel like right what can I do now, and stop watching videos, but these things I enjoy so I will do one task on my list and then as a reward will watch a video, or treated myself to another coffee. Rewarding myself makes me want to continue ticking off my daily to do.

I challenge myself and have been loving my monthly challenges. If you do not know what I am talking about, then check out my monthly newsletter and can find them on my blog site https://everyonecanbuildacastle.com

This monthly challenge is to do a bit of training each day, as for me this helps as there are things I need to still learn. It fulfills me to do so, and made me take a look at myself, what new behaviour patterns can I undertake that helps me be a better person.

I am aware of my actions, and so it good for me to work on myself to not raise my voice until I have taken a check on the situation better. Did I come across negative or positive?, Organising my mind helps me to work on my development, and helps me physically aswell.

Have I been wrong? What happened when I took that action? and asking right question to get the right answer. Yet I kept finding that I had to answer to myself on everything I do, and questions can drive me crazy. I take a hold of myself and reflect, and spend time go through how I feel and what steps I can take to improve certain areas of myself without putting too much pressure on myself. Example: I journal and a practice I have done since a kid, and really help me to learn and be a better version of myself each time.

You do have to take ownership on your action, like being defensive, being paranoid and avoiding situations, and be the person I know I am. I don't like confrontation, but being a parent has made me more protective. I know I have to work on my behaviour so he doesn't copy and I do see that I have to take of my actions, and take charge on myself, and relying on other people.

I do write books on

Coffee on the go whilst travelling backward and forwards

Doing a lot of travelling I like to have a few things to take with me and grabbing a coffee on the go is one of them, and really helps the tension I can often can getting to where I need to be and so take my time.

Rushing just stresses me out so I try to take it slower and I find when I do this I know I have everything I need to take with me, I know I am going to get to where I need to be, and not being late.

Time keeping is so important to me because I can often be panicky if there are travel issues. I have done it where I have queued when the bus stop is closed and not realised and same with the trains being cancelled or diverted like Tuesday, and so coffee is my go to when it comes to not stressing out.

Today the transport let me down coming that is but earlier was fine got a good connection and then coming back a nightmare. Yet a coffee hits the spot all of the time to get through these sorts of days.

I don't pick up a coffee everyday as this can be quite costly but if I am waiting and to stop me getting a dry throat I will pick one up and like drinking it whilst waiting for the bus or train, along with a hot chocolate on some days.

Thursdays is always the day where I feel the most tired and that's due to getting up so early to do when my son gets picked up from school at the beginning of the week and then I do the drop off the rest of the week.

So grabbing a coffee on the go is my favourite thing I like to do when travelling and almost need a new jar for indoors.

What do you like to do when travelling a lot and what drink if you could choose you'd have on the go, please leave a comment below.

Setting time up to be in my slippers

Hello and welcome to my blog and thank you for reading my blogs so far on this site. In this blog I am talking about Setting time up to be in my slippers is how I get stuff done. I don't want to be in my shoes all of the time as I like to give my feet a rest as I love to walk and make time for it as I take advantage of the distance it takes to get to the bus stop in time and being amongst the freshair is good for you, so when in doors I want relaxtion and so being in my slippers helps me be like that.

I also like to have a biscuit or two along with a nice cup of coffee whilst I get on with my blogs, books, videos and developing online courses and as I write this blog post I have a biscuit beside me with a coffee and got my comfortable winter socks with a pair of sleepers that I received this year for Christmas, and listening to a video by Mel Robbins as I develop this blog.

Life doesn't have to be busy all of the time and when I get into the zone I do swtich off with what is going around and feel content. I will be arrange some meetings for myself as looking to do volunteer work or part time work as I want to work in a mentalhealth setting or in the education sector, and know this will help me with my blogs as it good to do research for my content to learn more myself.

I like relaxed learning, nothing that is gonna make me stress out about, but helps to built my knowledge slowly and effectively.

Having a pair of slippers helps me to wind down each day after, as I do a lot of travelling and so good to relax the feet and body after communiting and feel that sigh of "Glad that is all done and now I can relax" and so slippers help me take it easy, but getting tasks done each day in a relaxed environment where I am allowed to wear slippers.

I do write other blogs on google, please check out my Pinterest for more of my content:

Getting Organized for Boxing day

Hello and welcome! I hope you all had a good Christmas still got today to get through, Boxing day and I have been up early, washing some clothes, tireding and vacuuming and then wrote some of new book I am writing and trying to get finished by the new year and been ot of my Boxing day tradiitonal walk, and so I use my Boxing day to catch up on errands.

It was my nan on my dads side birthday who is no longer with us, but I always remember, but often forget and so gonna remember today to light a candle for her as she was a great part of my childhood and I miss having a nan.

Today it is a day that I will be catching up with other family and so taking some time to write a blog to be done before that and I think getting up early is the best way so gonna have a whole free day tomorrow and be doing a lot more then too.

For food it will be picky bits, opening more presents and chatting whilst watching a film or listen to more Christmas songs.

As a kid it would be playing a game and we used to travel to Farnham or Farnborough to celebrate Boxing day and now that has changed as the new generation continues to grow in my family.

I am filming a day in  life and today is the last day of me filming that and check out Youtube channels under:

- Typicallondongal

- Carrieseducationalyoutubechannel

- mystylewayofliving

So soon my little terror (son) will be here so going to leave this blog here, and so the next time will probably in the new year so have a happy one.

Choosing the right gift set for myself and give as gifts to adults but not children

I am a lover of gift boxes and I have already been looking around to choose some I like and want to buy for myself and others, and they aren't all out in my Boots so may need to search through the one in Epsom or up London, where they have a bigger store, but saw some in Tescos, and going to check Poundland, Wilkos and TK Maxx and I have been searching on Amazon too.

I like a gift set that is filled with Shower cream, a perfume spray, a good body scrub or wash, or face wash and deodarants and body sprays.

When it comes to gift for kids I try to stay away from skincare gift sets. This is because often kids skin can be super sensitive, but would for kids buy a crafting set and make them a set of books, tokens and some silver or gold chocolate coins, and if they like writing, a writing set.

The other thing I love is alcohol gift sets, if you know a person who like Bailey's for example like me, would be great for someone and I wait until December as there will be more.

This is why I am holding out until next month, as don't want to buy one and see something better, and also it depends if someone is having a health kick, and you could create your own gift set, with healthy treats and if they love skincare can add these too.

The other great thing you can do is make a pampers set, of nightcream they use, with day cream, a flannel, a towel and body lotion, one that they use. Just talk to the person of items they love, as we often know what to buy going on what they currently are into.

I often will buy a bag for a someone and add little items inside in tissue paper and still great as a gift set.

Anyway as we are still in November we do still have some days and weeks to find the goodies we want for Christmas, and so I am looking forward to getting some little gifts and big too, and have dreams coming true.

Get life together for Autumn and Winter

Hello and welcome! In this blog I am talking about how to get your life together for Autumn and winter.

I normally if I was in what I call my own home, I would do a seasonal clean up, which involves going through everything and decluttering my clothes, files on my computer and so gonna use the time to go through my google photos because I have exceeded the storage with video and images, so having a clear out.

I have been packing items from my old home in Epsom to where I am now, and it does feel good going through items, and gonna do more today.

If I get a chance to film showing you this then I will. I will add it to My Style Way Of Living, youtube channel, if that happens or not.

Sometimes I will when sorting through items forget about filming so will try my best to remember.

Today I cleared out my phone and put images and videos I have wanted to keep transfered to my Memory card in my phone and on Saturday should be getting a new phone and go SIM only.

I would reommend this to you, that you go through files on your devices and go through items to keep and items to delete.

I like to start each season fresh and so if there isn't anything that no longer has a purpose I will get rid of it.

When it comes to clothes I will go through them and go through items that I can wear all year round, but what I can layer up for the colder weather, and when it is raining as that is a lot in the UK, so it is good to prepare for these days and when it get crispy cold.

This means going through my coats and jackets and make sure I have enough and they are all machine washable and not needing to go to the drycleaners.

So what do you do to Get your life together for Autumn and Winter.

How I make life easier and breaking my tasks and daily and weekly down so it gets done

Hello and welcome! So today it is Sunday but when you read this it will be Monday as I don't post any live blogs on Sundays but post the rest of the week.

This blog is about How I make life easier and breaking my tasks daily and weekly down so it gets done.

1. Grab a notebook and get jotting and go through what has been done and what needs to be done.

2. Then have a view of the week using a calendar or diary to mark important appointments, things that need to be done first and are urgent items for yourself and then example B for things that need to be done next and can be put last on your list

3. Use notepad on your phone or take a photo of the list you have and of what needs to be done when for the week

4. Put in appointments first with time and prep work, like printing a map of where you need to go or if virtue time you have to log on to do the virtue appointment

5. Dave items on your phone aswell ast on a computer or laptop and a paper version, that you can carry around.

It doesn't have to be all done in a day then don't put this, and renember to a view of the month too to hand to also help prep and plan the days and months within the year and any items already schedule for the next year.

So, I hope these tips help and have helped me and many thanks for reading,

Things you loved once upon a time/changed your life and decision on love and letting them go

It is very hard at times to let things go, especially when you first loved them and never wanted them out of your life and this can be people, fashion, homes and outdoors loves you had once, but you know when they are coming to the end, as for it is a feeling, and you just know.

This is where it is good to have a clear out and be at peace with the people and materilistic items, and be happy once they have gone.

Take time going through stuff as some items are like you know you had them and bring back inspiration, and want to use them again.

There are items that go beyond their lifeline, like flip flops you remember having and forgot about it.

It is can be a picture you had been looking for and create a vision board by hanging them up and creating a vision board, which I in my blog on Wordpress everyonecanbuildacastle.com write a lot about and I do believe in, "If you can see then you'll use it, out of mind out of site".

The other thing is have a keepsake bin or box file, so go through items that give you that boost still and want to wear it or see it again and still everytime you see it, it feels like it is still a new discovery.

Make a list of items you want to keep and want to give away. Create a rack of clothes not worn and still want to. Items you want to save on another rack or in a bin.

Its okay to have a bits and bobs bin, and I do this by using recycled items. Like a box or a container that was gifted to you. like gift boxes and a caddy like I use on my desk.

These images is my work desk and second picture is of a caddy bought from Poundland where I store some of my jewellery and helps me remember to put some on and have it to hand as I do wear earrings, chokers, necklaces and bracelets a lot of the time.

I do have a declutter on my jewellery to that no longer serve a purpose and not have them when I won't use the again.

So be ruthless and take time when looking at times you once loved to say goodbye to them.

It really helps you move forward instead of the passed all of the time.

Getting my life together

Often I can get stressed over having stuff to carry around with me aswell as what to keep in my room. I like functional and have everything I need daily and weekly close by so I don't have to go searching for items.

I do have a functional space to write and hope once moved, I will like a proper home office with a plenty of storage and getting my life even more together than now.

Its important for me to have everything I need around me, it saves me time and I know where everything is. Currently my desk is also a dressing table where I will put on a Youtube video whilst I do my make up and film my Get ready with me videos, check out my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUDFIqjVKLy7NhtcR6Hy0Tg

Check out my blogpost I did on my site Organzie4thebetter:

https://organize4thebetter.blogspot.com/2020/07/how-i-organize-my-workspace.html

Being a writer it is important I can listen to music whilst I write as it keeps me from stopping and take my time in the things I write like books and blog. All my books are published on Amazon.com under my name: Carrie Challoner, Carrie Lee Holmes and Carrie Holmes, if you wish to check these out, and I things in arms length and that is how I set myself up and have my life together.

Its all about the things you need, with the things you want

Organization at the weekend and for the rest of the year.

Hello! Another weekend over and I would like to do what I did when in a Mental Health hospital, and reflect on each week. It is good to reflect on life as it can help achieve more the week after and I have really got my life together and then next thing for me, is to have new home.

I am ready to fly and do packing videos and new home decor, sitting on a balcony or garden, having a cup of tea and perhaps some breakfast.

The weekends for me are the times when I can be different for two days. I like to eat often different foods and where different clothes and just be with myself. I next week gonna visit different areas of London and perhaps go to the Covent Garden market again. I would like to visit Primark and begin to get ready for my busiest time of year, from Septemer throught to December and be in my fourth quarter of the year, and be doing some outdoor work experience, as I do aswell as write blogs, book and videos, work more in Mental Health and my aim is to be a teacher assistant or a Support worker in mental health.

I want to be singing and dancing again, as I wish I never gave this up, but did and I love dancing and being on stage so is on my goals list that I set and goals are what keeps me going.

Some may say they are unreachable but what I have learned so far being 42 is that no they aren't. Madonna was in her 30's when she became a pop star and has had a successful career since then and has always been an artist of some great music. So to be organized and have good times is by always evolving and doing new things all of the time.

I want to have more books written and have a bestseller, no matter how long it may take or how many books I get to have that, I will keeping aiming for it, and it has taken me a lot to have blogs that people like but I am reaching a good audience of people and that gives me joy and love of what I do now.

Some may see it has it never paying out, but yes it can and it is always organize as you go and never giving up.

So use weekends like they are your chance to do something new and different to the rest of the week and also your year.
